Ish, Ish, Almost Made a Fish—This book explores our use of the "ish" phrase and ponders where we would be if Ish had become a Fish, Wish or Dish  instead of just little ole non fish Ish. Great fun!!! This book is being illustrated by Atlanta artist Steve Shaw (www.artbysteveshaw.com). Steve is a free lance artist who also teaches art at Atlanta's Schenk School.

Quick, Quick, I’ve got a Cowlick—Every kid’s nightmare. Unruly hair and pressed to get to school on time. Our young protagonist ponders how the cow got in the house to give him the lick, but ends up proud of his Cowlick when he finds that dad, movie stars and football players got licked by the cow too.
